Biography
Dr. Kishore Mulpuri is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at BC Children’s Hospital and an associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is principal investigator of two of the largest pediatric hip data registries, both of which have over 20 centres contributing data and representing five continents. He is also the evidence to innovation research theme co-lead at the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, the project chair for quality improvement projects with the Medical and Allied Staff Engagement Society (MASES) and the program medical lead for the Child Health BC Hip Surveillance Program.
With over 100 journal publications, Dr. Mulpuri has dedicated his career to research and recognizes its importance in the advancement of clinical care. He is an active collaborator with the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility as well as the UBC Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is involved in a number of research projects that aim to improve the screening, diagnosis and management of a number of pediatric orthopaedic conditions.
