Biography
Dr. Ted Steiner is a researcher at the Immunity and Infection Research Centre, professor and head of the Division of Infectious Diseases and an associate member of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia. His research interests focus on the inflammatory response to the flagellin from enteroaggregative E. coli (EAEC), an emerging diarrheal pathogen. His clinical expertise is in general consultative infectious diseases, with a particular interest in infectious diarrhea and tropical medicine.
